Song Day- Here "You Come Again"

Today's song is by Dolly Parton and is an oldie, but it speaks to all those times I'd vowed to quit boozing and using and failed. Not until I came into the program ETA did I find recovery. I quit a zillion times on my own but it wasn't until I met all the people that had found sobriety in ETA that I learned how to stay stopped. Thanks to you, I am proud to be able to call myself a quitter. You taught me how and I am so very grateful. I need each and everyone of you to help me resist the thoughts described so perfectly in the song below.

Here you come again
Just when I've begun to get myself together
You waltz right in the door
Just like you've done before
And wrap my HEAD 'round your little finger

Here you come again
Just when I'm about to make it work without you
You look into my eyes
And lie those pretty lies
And pretty soon I'm wonderin' WHY I CAN'T DO WITHOUT YOU

All you have to do is smile that smile
And there go all my defenses
Just leave it up to you and in a little while
You're messin' up my mind and fillin' up my senses

Here you come again
SOUNDIN' better than a BOTTLE has a right to
And shakin' me up so that all I really know
Is here you come again ...
And here I go

[break]

All you have to do is smile that smile
And there go all my defenses
Just leave it up to you and in a little while
You're messin' up my mind and fillin' up my senses

Here you come again
SOUNDIN' better than a BOTTLE has a right to
And shakin' me up so that all I really know
Is here you come again ...
And here I go (here you come again)

Here I go
Here I go (here you come again)
And here I go
Here I go (here you come again)
Here I go
Here I go (here you come again)
Here I go

Have a good and sober day.
