Song Day! Sunday Morning

This song expresses what I wrote about in yesterday's blog, just in a different way. I made some lyric changes (so they'd twist to fit the mode that I am in) and my changes are in capital letters.

Sunday Morning by Maroon 5

Sunday morning, rain is falling
Steal some covers, share some skin
Clouds are shrouding us in moments unforgettable
You twist to fit the mold that I am in

(THINKING ABOUT RELAPSE HERE)
But things just get so crazy
Living life gets hard to do
And I would gladly hit the road, get up and go if I knew
That someday it would lead me back to You
That someday it would lead me back to You

BUT I KNOW THAT YOU ARE all I need
In darkness, I SIMPLY CANNOT see
I'LL Come and rest MY bones with THEE
Driving slow on Sunday morning
HELP ME TO never want to leave

Fingers trace Your every outline
Paint a picture with my hands
Back and forth we sway like branches in a storm
Change the weather still together when it ends

BUT I KNOW THAT YOU ARE all I need
In darkness, I SIMPLY CANNOT see
I'LL Come and rest MY bones with THEE
Driving slow on Sunday morning
HELP ME TO never want to leave

But things just get so crazy, living life gets hard to do
Sunday morning, rain is falling and I'm calling out to You
Singing someday it'll bring me back to You
Find a way to bring myself back home to You

I HOPE YOU KNOW THAT YOU ARE all I need
In darkness, I SIMPLY CANNOT see
I'LL Come and rest MY bones with THEE
Driving slow on Sunday morning
HELP ME TO never want to leave

Driving slow, driving slow (all I need, all I see)
oh yeah yeah oh yeah yeah oh yeah yeah (bones with THEE)
I'm a flower in Your hair
yeah yeah, yeah yeah

Sorry this is being posted so late, I know that some of you like to read this during lunch breaks. I am writing this from a different time zone than usual and will try to be earlier tomorrow. Should you be really ticked off about the tardiness and unable to reach your sponsor, our e-mail is sobernotsomber@gmail.com and we would be delighted to hear from you.

Have a good and sober day.
