Song Day! The Best Thing by Gladys Knight

This song is re-written as a song of prayer, a song of praise, a song of thanksgiving. With just a few minor changes (in caps, as usual) I recognize that the old HP has been with me through it all; even the hell and ugliness of active addiction. With this re-write, I express my love for, and gratitude to, Him for the unconditional love, grace and forgiveness He offers me. All I have to do is open these gifts to make them mine.
